Review by hotel critic
Nestled near the charming old market square, Ikar Poznań serves as an excellent base for culinary explorations, and its on-site dining experience is certainly noteworthy. As a fashion photographer indulging in gourmet getaways, I expected to find inspiration and delight, and the restaurant delivered precisely that with its inviting atmosphere and buffet-style breakfast. Each morning, the breakfast spread featured traditional Polish dishes alongside an array of international flavors. I particularly cherished the homemade pastries that paired beautifully with my morning coffee—a true treat for any food enthusiast. After a day of wandering the picturesque streets and visiting nearby parks and museums, settling into a cozy spot at the hotel’s restaurant was a fitting end. It offered a menu filled with well-crafted meals designed to showcase the local culinary heritage. I appreciated the chance to dine in such a pleasant setting without feeling rushed, making it an experience worth revisiting on my next Italian journey.
